Summary of the May 29, 2012 Conference Call with Ben Lloyd, Dorothy Grannell and Robin Mohr
Ben, from Philadelphia YM, reflected on his personally transformative experience of the Sixth World Conference, his first-ever gathering with the full spectrum of Friends worldwide. Dorothy, of New England YM, offered suggestions for telling the story of the World Conference by sharing how she and others in her yearly meeting will report to meetings and churches, quarterly meetings and at yearly meeting sessions. Robin, Section of the Americas Executive Secretary, explained how the World Conference fits in with FWCC's goals and mission, and why this was an important event for the Religious society of Friends. She announced the new theme for the Section of the Americas work this year, Let the Living Water Flow! Friends serving God's purposes. Read more about this program.
